A proud child of God and a Tennessee native, I have dedicated my life to leading with the conservative, principled values instilled in me by my Christian upbringing. My journey in leadership began on the soccer fields of Tennessee, where serving as a team captain and earning All-State honors forged a competitive spirit and a lifelong ability to lead others toward victory, regardless of the challenge.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in Economics and Marketing minor, I spent 13 years coaching women’s soccer in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). My time at both Ole Miss and Vanderbilt allowed me to mentor young athletes and apply strategic leadership at the highest levels of collegiate athletics.

Today, I bring that same executive vision to my role as COO for ATHIO (All to Him I Owe), LLC, a family-owned company where I manage real estate investment and commercial holdings, serving my family through professional excellence.

 

My involvement in politics began as a member of the Major League Soccer to Nashville committee, where I learned the importance of engaging with local leaders, both public and private, to achieve goals that benefitted the people and the community.  In 2020, I used that experience to become a citizen activist and  lobbyist during the COVID-19 pandemic to standup to government overreach.

 

That experience has continued uninterrupted for the last six years. During this time, I have frequented the halls of our state capitol to work directly with state legislators. While the Tennessee Republican Party platform explicitly highlights limited government and medical freedom as core tenets, the pandemic revealed that our Republican supermajority was willing to compromise those God-given liberties. It was an unprecedented case of government overreach.

Locally, my opponent, the incumbent, stands in direct opposition to conservative principles. My opponent supports open primaries, allowing Democrats to vote in Republican contests. Furthermore, he failed to support Senator Bo Watson’s transparency bill, which aimed to audit how much taxpayer funding is directed toward illegal immigration education. His reliance on insider politics was further exposed when he attempted a backdoor deal to place an unqualified candidate on the ballot against a vetted, qualified Republican running for District 3 school board.

My opponent recently stated that his job is to be a cheerleader for the Republican Party. I strongly disagree. An elected official must be a cheerleader for the citizens and a watchdog over the party, ensuring our leaders vote according to our foundational principles. I deeply understand the legislative process; my opponent does not. The people deserve an active, knowledgeable SEC representative who answers to them, not party insiders.

My greatest callings, however, are found in my faith and my family. I have been blessed with 17 years of marriage to my wife, Gail, the Chairwoman of the Hamilton County Republican Party. Together, we are raising six amazing children, ranging from 15 years to 20 months old. As active members of Calvary Chapel Chattanooga, we live out our faith as Tennessee certified foster parents, providing a loving home to children in need. Whether in the boardroom, the community, or at home, my mission remains to honor the Lord through steadfast, principled leadership.
