The Tennessee State Executive Committee for the Tennessee Republican Party is the main leadership and decision-making body that runs the Republican Party across the state.

What the Tennessee Republican SEC does:

1. Controls party rules

Sets the rules for Republican primaries and conventions
Decides who is allowed to run as a Republican (party loyalty matters)

2. Protects the Republican brand

Can challenge or even remove candidates who don’t align with Republican principles
Helps ensure candidates represent conservative values
